Obituary for Ricky Paul Miller
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at The Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Rayne, LA for Ricky Paul Miller, 64, who died at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Church Point, LA.
Rev. Berl Adams will officiate the funeral service and the burial will follow in the Saint Joseph II Cemetery of Rayne. Visitation may be observed on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Miller was born April 26, 1958 in Lafayette, LA to Rodney and Rosalyn Morgan Miller. He worked most of his life in the oil field. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing and listening to his father and brothers play French music. He loved spending time with his family and grandbabies.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Deborah Navarre Miller of Church Point; daughter, Allison Pearce and her husband, Michael of Pierre Part; son, Lucas Miller and his wife, Renee of Plattenville; 2 sisters, Susan Miller of Rayne and Vicky Menard of Scott; brother, Michael Miller of Lafayette and 4 grandchildren, Kinsley and Avery Pearce, Gabriel Miller and Andon Dupre.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Ronnie and Timothy Miller and a sister, Pamela Leger.
