Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at The Pentecostals of Crowley for Amy Aline Chaisson Menard, 90, who died at her home in Crowley, Friday, September 16, 2022.
Pastor Lyn Whittaker will officiate the funeral services and the burial will follow in the North Hanks Cemetery. Visitation will be held at The Pentecostals of Crowley, 9431 Egan Hwy, Crowley, LA 70526, Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Aline was born September 30, 1931 in Crowley, LA. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved worshiping God, spending her time in church and with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and her gumbo, pralines and fudge were legendary.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Kathleen Hayes of Crowley, Sharon Guidry of Crowley, Cara Menard of TX and Robyn Felix and her husband, Ricky of Crowley; 4 sons, Dempsey Guidry and his wife Denise of Lake Charles, George Guidry of Crowley, Terry Guidry of Crowley and Brett Dolan and his wife, Cathy of Baytown, TX; 1 brother, Richard Mayer of Birmingham, AL; 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Eva Smith Chaisson; her 1st husband, George Ray Guidry; 2nd husband, Preston Menard; 1 daughter, Glenda Davis; 2 sons Jerry Guidry and Stephen Menard and 1 grandson, Garrett Dolan.
