Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Willard E. Bertrand, Sr., who passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 8:15 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Pastor Berl Adams, Pastor of The First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services.
The family has requested visitation to be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. until time of services all in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley.
Survivors include two daughters, Joanie and husband, Brian Kibodeaux of Crowley, Kathy Collins of Texas; three sons, Mark, Danny, and Virgil Bertrand all of Crowley; one step-daughter, Theresa Davis of Crowley; one step-son, David Davis of Crowley; two brothers, Waylan Bertrand of Pecan Island and J.C. Bertrand of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Vanessa Cormier of Crowley, and Brenda Sue Nunez of Crowley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bertrand was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Watson Bertrand; one son, Willard Bertrand, Jr.; one step-son, Richard Davis, Sr.; his parents, Jerome, and Elvie G. Bertrand; two brothers, Harold, and Walter Bertrand; three sisters, Virgie Veazey, Margie Clement, and Vera Poole.
