Obituary for Wilber Tauzin Perry

Funeral services will be held at Parkerson Avenue Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 for Wilber Tauzin Perry, 93, who died at 2:49p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in Jennings, LA.
Rev. Jimmy Broussard will celebrate the funeral services and the burial will follow at the North Hanks Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Perry was born November 1, 1928 in Crowley, LA to Cecil and Ada Hanks Perry. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country during WWII and the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of VFW Harold Bossley Post 6720 and the American Legion Post 15. He worked most of his life in the oil field as a supervisor.
He is survived by 5 children, Elaine Perry Hebert of Crowley, Wiley Lee Roy Perry and his wife Patti of Huntington, TX, Cathy Jean Perry Guidry of Breaux Bridge, Debbie Sue Perry Guidry, and her husband Michael of Many, LA, and Richard W. Perry of Houston, TX; 17 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren and a son-in-law, Michael Hoffpauir.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy Prejean Perry; a daughter, Tammy Lynn Hoffpauir; son-in-law, Patrick Hebert; 1 brother, George Wilson Perry and 3 sisters, Eula Mae Winfrey, Joann Monceaux and Dorothy Primeaux.
