A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point for Allen L. Guidry, 58, who passed away at his home in Church Point on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 8:00 A.M.
Rev. Pius T. Ajiki, Pastor of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services all at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point.

Survivors include one son, Allen and wife, Shaterra Girouard of Lafayette; four daughters, Le’Nescia Girouard of Lafayette, Leandra Richard of Church Point, My’Destiny Sellers of Lafayette, Khloe Guidry of Church Point; one brother, Elridge Guidry, Jr.; four sisters, Dorothy G. Gobert of Church Point, Gloria and husband, Donald Woods, Sr. of Crowley, Linda and husband, Jonus Randy Young, Sr. of Branch, Evelena and husband, Jerry Arceneaux of Church Point; twelve grandchildren.
Mr. Guidry was preceded in death by his parents, Elridge Guidry, Sr. and Agathe Guidry; three sisters, two infants and Veronica Citizen; two brothers, Paul Terry and Tommy Guidry.
