Obituary for Andrus Seaux
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Rayne, LA for Andrus Seaux, 75, who died at 1:22 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in Crowley, LA.
MSGR. Russell Harrington, Pastor of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church will celebrate the funeral services and the burial will follow in the Saint’s Peter and Paul Cemetery in Scott, LA. Visitation may be observed on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
Mr. Andrus was born August 16, 1947 in Rayne, LA to Lover and Orelia Lantier Seaux. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, godfather, uncle and friend. He enjoyed life with his friends and family. In his younger days he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He retired from Atmos Energy after 26 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He then decided to go back to work for an old friend, Alan Meche, with Meche Construction.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary J. Seaux of Mire, LA; 1 daughter, Pamela Seaux and her spouse, Eva Daigle of Rayne; 1 son, Dwight Seaux and his wife, Vanessa of Mire; 1 sister, Yolande S. Richard of Crowley; 1 brother, Martin Seaux of Mire; 5 grandchildren, Aundrea Breaux (Tiffany), Anthony Seaux (Victoria), Hunner Seaux (Shelby), Adyson Seaux and Anna Grace Bourque and 2 great grandchildren, Mavis Rae Seaux and Dawson Drake Seaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Clovis Seaux, John Ewell Seaux and John Richard Seaux; 1 sister, Willie Bell Seaux and 1 grandson, Drake Seaux.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Seaux, Patrick Seaux, Anthony Seaux, Hunner Seaux, Lucus Seaux and Brandon Degeyter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Martin Seaux, Mike Carrier, Rickey Seaux, Allen Dugas, Shane Seaux, David Seaux and Jeffery Bourque.
