Obituary for Larence Joseph Andrus
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Rayne, LA for Larence Joseph Andrus, 77, who died at 5:30 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 in Lafayette.
Rev. Jimmy Broussard will officiate the funeral services and the burial will follow in the Branch Methodist Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Andrus was born March 8, 1945 in Rayne, LA to Foreman and Marie (Bessie) Perrodin Andrus. He owned Andrus Exterminating for 40 plus years. He enjoyed working his cattle, riding his tractor listening to Cajun French music. He loved dancing and spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter.
He is survived by his daughter, Marlene Andrus of Branch; 5 grandchildren, Mia Privat and her husband Joshua, Mandie Daigle and her husband Josh, Justin Muir and his wife, Christy, Penny Mienke and her husband, David, and Jody Andrus and his wife, Starleen and 10 great grandchildren, Braylin, Kade, Anzlee, Aubrey, Lillian, Steven, Mckayla, Addison, Alexia and Ethan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Campbell Andrus and 2 sons, Edgar Campbell and Terry Andrus.
