Obituary for Shannon Lee Cormier
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Shannon L. Cormier, 61, who passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:10 P.M. at his home in Rayne.
Fr. Henry Antony, HGN, from St. Joseph Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Catholic Church New Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, at 8:00 A. M. until time of services.
Survivors include his Godchild, Philip Pellissier of Rayne; two sisters, Kay Cormier of Church Point, Clair Myers of Church Point; two brothers, Philip Keith Cormier and Mary Kobra of Egan, Craig Anthony and wife, Sonya Cormier of Rayne; several nieces and nephew, and great nieces and great nephews; his wife, Marque J. Cormier.
Mr. Cormier was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Lee Verdie M. Cormier; one brother, Patrick Wayne Cormier.
