Obituary for Cheryl Jean LeJeune
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Cheryl T. LeJeune, 65, who passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 9:00 P.M. at her home in Church Point.
Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery Mausoleum.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, November, 18, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include her husband of forty nine years, Cary LeJeune of Church Point; two daughters, Erica and husband, Bradley Venable of Church Point, Tonya LeJeune of Church Point; one sister, Bobbie Thibodeaux of Church Point; two brothers, Timmy and wife, Serena Thibodeaux of Church Point, Darrell Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Kassidy, Ayden, Kayden, Ava Lyons, and Kamryn Venable; several Godchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Betty Thibodeaux; one sister, Carol Thibodeaux.
