Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at The Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Rayne, LA for Tara Lynn Richard, 48, who died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022.
Pastor Jonathan Moore will celebrate the funeral service and the burial will follow in The Saint Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Tara was born September 24, 1974 in Rayne, LA. She worked as a Nurse at Encore of Crowley. She was a loving daughter and mother. She loved being with her friends and family crabbing and fishing.
She is survived by her daughter, Madison Leger of Crowley; her mother, Doretta Boullion Gaspard and her husband, Jerry of Rayne and many loving uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Wayne Richard and her son, Chance Michael Leger.
