Obituary for Lucille Theunissen Guidry
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 12:30 P.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley for Lucille T. Guidry, 73, who passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 8:44 A.M. at her home in Crowley.
Fr. Johnathan Janise, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Joseph P. Guidry, Jr. of Crowley; one son, Brandon and wife, Ianeta Guidry of Rayne; one daughter, Bridget Simon and Pappy Morgan of Lafayette; one sister, Mary Boudreaux of Crowley; three brothers, Steve Theunissen of Sulphur, Sam Theunissen of Rayne, and Dexter and wife, Yvonne Theunissen of Crowley; two grandchildren, Seioriana Faith, and Jade Milaneta Guidry.
Mrs. Guidry was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph P. Theunissen and Eva L. Theunissen; two sisters-in-law, Kathy and Donna Theunissen.
Pallbearers for the services will be Brent Theunissen, Shane Theunissen, Ryan Theunissen, Joey Theunissen, Jakob Theunissen, and Trevor Meche.
