A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Kirbyville Cemetery in Kirbyville, TX, for Melba W. Tinney, 94, who passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 9:09 P.M. at Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa and husband, Tommy Vestal of Church Point; three grandchildren, Renee’ and husband, Keith Buteaux of Church Point, Elizabeth Vestal of Lafayette and T.J. Vestal of Church Point; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Vestal and Kacy Buteaux both of Church Point; one great-great-grandchild on the way.
Ms. Tinney was preceded in death by her husband, Verner “Von” Tinney; her parents, Thomas Henry and Lola M. Walker; one sister, Dortha Faye Gilbreath.
