Obituary for Maurice Mark Draper
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Rayne, LA for Maurice Mark Draper, 63, who died Friday, December 23, 2022 in Texas.
Rev. Berl Adams, pastor of First Baptist Church of Church Point, LA will officiate the funeral services and the burial will follow in the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Draper was born April 2, 1959 in Galveston, TX to Eldon and Virginia Dubose Draper. He worked as a computer programmer for ATandT. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Renee Domangue and her husband, Wilfred of Houma and Bridgitte Draper of Panama City, Florida; his mother, Virginia Draper of Springfield, VA; 1 sister, Linda Jones of Springfield, VA; 2 brothers, Michael Draper of Crosby, TX and Gary Draper of Spring, TX and 3 grandchildren, Randy Domangue, Emma Domangue and Austin Draper.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon Draper.
