A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Rebecca M. Matte, 65, who passed away at her home in Richard on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 10:30 A.M.
The family has requested visitation to be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. until time of services all in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include her husband, Larry J. Matte of Richard; one daughter, Katie and husband, Joshua Cormier of Big Cane; one son, David and wife, Brittany Tate of Church Point; two step-sons, Daniel and wife, Denise Matte of Church Point, Jeremy Matte of Church Point; one brother, Glenn and wife, Eva Mayer of Washington; two sisters, Karen Mayer and husband, Ricky of Sebastian, FL, Patricia and husband, Donald Thibodeaux of Pecaniere; four grandchildren, Colt and Wade Cormier, and Paisley and Iyla Tate.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Winnie Deville Mayer.
