Obituary for Ricky James Meaux Sr.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Ricky James Meaux, Sr., 59, who passed away at his home in Crowley on Tuesday, March 15, 2023 at 11:10 P.M.
Jimmy Broussard will be officiating for the service. Burial will be held in Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery in Indian Bayou.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 9:30 A.M. until time of services all in the Duhon Funeral Home in Crowley.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Crochet Meaux of Crowley; six sons, Michael and wife, Ashley Crochet of Branch, Aaron and companion, Diamond Crochet of Estherwood; Ricky Meaux, Jr., Zack Meaux, Lloyd Meaux, and Anthony Meaux all of Kaplan; one daughter, Kimberly and husband, Dominique Tillman of Sulphur; three brothers, David Meaux of Kaplan, Samuel Meaux of Morse, and Harvey Meaux, Jr. of Kaplan; two sisters, Sherlyn Meaux Friou of Kaplan, and Yolanda Meaux of Kaplan; twelve grandchildren.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Meaux, Sr. and Mary Harrington Meaux; one brother, Phillip Meaux, and one sister, Annette Meaux.
Pallbearers for the services will be Michael Crochet, Aaron Crochet, Dominique Tillman, Theresa Bourgeois, Randall Bourgeois, and Sammy Meaux. Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be Cameron, Christopher, Landon, Tayton, Ethan, Allison, Uncle Curtis, Allison, Julian, Shaun, David, and Bryan.
