Obituary for Darryl James Foreman
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Indian Bayou Community Church for Darryl James Foreman, 78, who died at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Lafayette.
Rev. Larry Maxwell will celebrate the funeral services and the burial will follow in the Indian Bayou Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
Mr. Foreman was born February 6, 1945 in Indian Bayou to Cornelius and Vera Burke Foreman. He was a lifelong and dedicated member of Indian Bayou Community Church. He was longtime manager of Piccadilly in Lafayette. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and his dog, Roux.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Melissa Lanclos and her husband Jay of Maurice, Dawn Babineaux (Matt) of Duson and Michelle Foreman (Brent) of Estherwood; 1 sister, Sue Cole and husband, F.G. of Ridge; 1 brother, Lee Foreman of Indian Bayou; 5 grandchildren, Phillip Lanclos, Megan St. Aubin and husband, Kevin, Grant Lanclos (Chrissy), Isaac Toten and Macie Foreman and 3 great grandchildren, Gabriel, Eliana and a baby girl Due in April.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tonie Lafleur Foreman; sister, Betty Hanks and 4 brothers, Ralph Foreman, Paul Foreman, Thomas Ray Foreman and Lester Foreman
