Obituary for Mary Thelma Brasseaux Breaux
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Mary Thelma B. Breaux, 86, who passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 6:37 P.M. at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles.
Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will officiate for the services. Burial will be held in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 8:30 A.M. until time of services in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include one son, Steve Lavergne of Crowley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; niece and caretaker, Becky Thibodeaux and Carl Daigle of Church Point; great-niece, Jamie Thibodeaux.
Ms. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Breaux; three sons, Harry, Larry and Michael Lavergne; her parents, Eluse and Marie Quebodeaux Brasseaux; three brothers, and five sisters.
