Obituary for Krane Richard
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Krane Richard, 78, who passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 7:00 A.M. at his home in Church Point.
Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the service. Burial will be held in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife, Verlie T. Richard of Church Point; two daughters, Anjanette Hebert of Branch, Sarah and husband, Larry Thibodeaux of Lafayette; one son, Scott and wife, Peyton Richard of Birmingham, AL; one step-daughter, Aviera and husband, Dwayne LeBouef of Crowley; one sister, Lucretia Manuel of Lafayette; two brothers, Gaynor and wife, June Richard of Branch, and Michael and wife, Barbara Richard of Pineville; four grandchildren, Denae’ Hebert, Andre’ Hebert, Abby Thibodeaux, and Trey Nolan.
Mr. Richard was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Gregory Hebert; his parents, Clarence L. and Mary Eunice C. Richard; one sister, Karen Richard.
