A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Nick Elkins, 29, who passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at his home in Church Point. Survivors include his parents, Glen and Sandra Elkins of Church Point, One Son, Payton J. Elkins of LaPlace, La. One Brother, Cody Elkins of Church Point, His Paternal Grandmother, Cammie Elkins and his Step Grandfather, Richard Pugh of Church Point, his Maternal Grandfather, Jessie Lopez of Picayune, Miss. Several Aunts and their families, Donna Brasseaux, Brenda Richard, Sandra Bellard, Betty "Cookie" Rosser and Barbara Buras, Uncles and their families, Kevin Elkins, and Jerry Lopez. Nick is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Hillman Elkins, Maternal Grandmother, Elizabeth Lopez and Uncle Aleus "Joe" Brasseaux
