Funeral Services will be Monday, April 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Leo Catholic Church in Roberts Cove for Lucy C. Zaunbrecher, 87, who passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 5:10 pm in Camelot Nursing Home in Crowley. Survivors include two sons, Elwin J. Zaunbrecher and Eugene N. and wife Linda Zaunbrecher , both of Mowata ; two step grandchildren, Tiffany and Marcus Deville of Crowley; one brother, Norbert and wife Carrie Cramer of Crowley. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and second, third, and fourth generations of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence N. Zaunbrecher; her parents, John Bernard Cramer and the former Anna Gesina Vondenstein; five sisters, Josephine and husband Nicholas M. Zaunbrecher, Anna and husband H. Joseph Habetz, Leona and husband H. Leo Habetz, Jr., Helen Cramer and Sister Lucie Cramer, CDP; three brothers, John Herman and wife Felicitas Cramer, William Joseph and wife Fannie Cramer, Bernard (Benny) Cramer and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley from 8:00 am until time of services. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 pm in St. Leo Catholic Church, Roberts Cove.
