Melinda D. Arabie, is a second generation funeral director born in DeRidder Louisiana to Ray and Joyce Duhon, both Louisiana Licensed Funeral Directors. Melinda is a 1984 graduate of Church Point High School, attended U.S.L. (now U.L at Lafayette). She then graduated from University of Phoenix with a degree in Accounting.
Melinda started her employment at Farmers State Bank and Trust Co. where she served the community of Church Point with their financing needs.
In 1992 Melinda joined the Duhon Family Business, beginning her career in the funeral industry.
In June 2008 she began her funeral director internship under the supervision of her mother, completing her exam with the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors to become a licensed funeral director in July 2009.
Service in the work sector not being the only expression of her desire to help others, she is also a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the finance committee. Melinda is a past member of Our Mother of Peace Elementary School Board, having served two consecutive terms. She also served four years as President of the Our Mother of Peace Elementary Parent Support Club.
Melinda is married to Church Point native, Randall Arabie and they are the parents of three children, Adrienne, Dustin, and Shawn as well as proud grandparents of three grandsons Jayden, Corbin, and Gunner.
Melinda’s business training and public service experience combine to provide her with the basics needed to run a business. These basics, coupled with the passion of faith and parenthood, as well as the moral character instilled by her parents, create in Melinda the traits necessary for the demanding, yet compassionate calling of funeral service.
For recreation Melinda enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and supporting her children and grandchildren in school and sporting events.

Glenn Boullion is a long time resident of Crowley, Louisiana.
He is the son of Glenn and Clarice Boullion. He is also the proud father of 4 daughters; Emily, Olivia, Katie, and Abigail.
Glenn has been in the funeral industry since 1983. It has been his privilege to serve his community and to assist them in their time of need.
Glenn will be a definite asset to the Duhon Funeral Home team.
