Obituary for
Irvin Joseph Domingue
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Irvin J. Domingue, 86, who passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 5:59 P.M. at the Magnolia Estates in Lafayette.
Deacon Tommy Adams, from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will officiate for the services. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Church New Mausoleum in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. until time of services all in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 1 o’clock in the afternoon.
Survivors include his wife of sixty five years, Mary Louise A. Domingue of Scott; three daughters, Shirley and husband, Carson Credeur of Lafayette, Brenda and husband, Carl Comeaux of Lafayette, Grace Melchior of Lafayette; one sister, Joyce Domingue of Rayne; two brothers, Purvis Domingue of Church Point and Gilford Domingue of Crowley; six grandchildren, Suzie Murtagh, Jesse Credeur, Brandon Comeaux, Joshua Comeaux, Rochelle Dupree, Charles Melchior; seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Domingue was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Anita B. Domingue; three brothers, Elmo, Stanford, and Willard Domingue.
