Michael Charles Robinson
Mire- Graveside services will be held for Michael C. Robinson, 71, at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Maxie Cemetery with Rev. Victor Ramirez, Sr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM on Monday, September 18,2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel, until 12:00 PM. Interment will follow the visitation and will be in the Maxie Cemetery. Mr. Robinson passed away on September 15, 2017.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his long time companion and friend, Bernita Benoit of Mire, LA; his children, Renee Robinson of Lafayette, LA, Jacqueline Guidry and her husband, Burt of Mire, LA, NomaLee Venable and her husband, Chris of Indian Bayou, LA, Jeffery Robinson of Mire, LA, Shane Robinson and his wife, Cheryl of Lyons Point, LA; mother, Telsie McNeese of Rayne, LA; siblings, Juanita Romero of Rayne, LA, Judy Chauvin of Rayne, LA, Cecil Robinson and his wife, Sandra of Rayne, LA and Wilbur Robinson of Rayne, LA; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Joan Robinson; father, William C. Robinson; brother, Eldridge Robinson; daughter, Jamie Robinson; grandchildren, Justin Bergeron, Chad Bergeron and Malori Guidry.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Comeaux, Jon-Michael Guidry, Coby Venable, Trent Trahan, Kenneth Price and Joseph Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Wyatt Robinson, Evan Robinson, Alex Price, Ryan Price and Jaxson Comeaux.
