A Flower Comes to Life

While Jim stayed with me in New Orleans after his mom passed, one morning he sat on the steps siipping his coffee and, of course, his cigarette.  He enjoyed the bud of a Hibicus become a flower.  It took a long time for that to happen; however, Jim enjoyed every second of it as he gave an oral history of what he was witnessing.  So was Jim, always enjoying the simple things of life, making other people happy, and not complaining about much.  Life for Jim was not about "much"; however, his spiirit about life was alot about "much".  His gift of the spirit will always be remembered by me.  His spirit will truly be missed and his spirit will forever live.  I remember him only with thoughts of love.   Don Richard
