Chester David Perkins
Crowley- Private services will be held for Chester D. Perkins, 66, at 12:00PM on Thursday, September 01, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley, LA. Mr. Perkins passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
Chester was a dedicated Father, Grandfather and Husband. He was very hard working, very strong in his faith; enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia G. Perkins of Scott, LA; children, Chad Perkins and his wife, Rebecca of Elk Grove, CA, Cynthia Ardoin and her husband, Josh of Jennings, LA; grandchildren, Autumn and Summer Little of Magee, MS, Breanna and Haley Perkins of Elk Grove, CA and Gideon Ardoin of Jennings, LA and three sisters, Andra Hare of Kountze, TX, Lucille Robinson of Rayne, LA and Dorothy Bailey (Wayne) of DeRidder, LA.
Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Allen Perkins and Ora Lee Johnson Perkins; father-in-law, Archie L. Greenman and two sisters, Troy Perkins and Jean Silva.
